I for one much prefer my movies in 2D. If I want 3D I will look at, well, reality :P

@mercedes – You are not missing anything. The colours in a 3D film are not as vivid as in a 2D one – Some detail is lost, and any fast action is jittery. The 3D poster child was Avatar, and I enjoyed it more in 2D. (saw it once in each type of theatre)

Due to vision issues I have I can’t see what everyone else see’s when they watch a 3D movie so I have no idea what the hype is about.

I hope that studios make up their minds: either go to the time and expense to film specifically for 3D, or don’t do it at all. Clash of the Titans looked horrible because it was a sloppy conversion after the fact. Yet Avatar looked amazing because it was made for 3D. Don’t give us 3D for the sake of 3D – please.
