I’ve been reading a lot of entries at iffles.com lately, and one thing she’s got going there is a monthly theme project, where each month she has selected a theme, and invited her reader to submit photo entries into the monthly theme Flickr pool. I’ve been a casual observer until this month, which is “Mono” … ie. [...] -

Aww, thanks Deej.

Thanks Deej. Emma has been eating the latest bread concoction (the one I mentioned trying in the post), and thinks it’s OK. We’ve also managed some good muffins, and found some decent gluten-free bagels (even better with a little bit of soft goat cheese, almost like a cream cheese, on it) that Emma likes, so [...]

Weird… so, Raingod, to clarify… you’re getting the malware warning for the efx3 home page? Or your blog? Or my blog?

Interesting. I just got blocked entirely from viewing my own blog here, by my antivirus. When I look at the details of the block-message, if I understand it right, it’s telling me that the host that’s serving the blog software has been flagged as suspicious, because it has served OTHER sites (not efx3) that have pushed malware onto users systems.
It says:
”What happened when Google visited sites hosted on this network?
Of the 41952 site(s) we tested on this network over the past 90 days, 3095 site(s), including, for example, buycheap1080plcdhdtv.com/, iyibey.com/, softwaredock.com/, served content that resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent.
The last time Google tested a site on this network was on 2010-02-20, and the last time suspicious content was found was on 2010-02-20.
Has this network hosted sites acting as intermediaries for further malware distribution?
Over the past 90 days, we found 158 site(s) on this network, including, for example, rachanapowercom.com/, shunya.info/, 97aiwep.com/, that appeared to function as intermediaries for the infection of 843 other site(s) including, for example, r1y1.com/, muzonas.lt/, jofolio.net/.
Has this network hosted sites that have distributed malware?
Yes, this network has hosted sites that have distributed malicious software in the past 90 days. We found 168 site(s), including, for example, boardmansilversmiths.com/, traffloads.in/, 7o8.net/, that infected 4926 other site(s), including, for example, dombiz.org/, alhazeen.org/, muzonas.lt/.”

Doesn’t mean anything to me, and I’m guessing it’s my antivirus being silly, but like I said, it happens every time, and whatever it is, my antivirus is blocking it my browser (Firefox) from commecting to that object.
Just though I’d pass it along. =)

I got a nasty message as well when I tried to read your latest update on Emma’s diet, I flagged it as ”not bad” and read it anyway, hope that helps..
Hmm, interesting. Perhaps is something in the template I use??
I am using AVG, and I’m getting similar messages. When I click on my bookmark, or type the address in manually, I get a message that comes up saying that efx3.com is a reported attack site. Not really sure why it is doing that. Here is a link to the report page of the site that told me it was bad. http://www.stopbadware.org/reports/fc4cfa28d86faae8326af4318a4d735a
Hope that sheds some light on the subject.Weird… so, Raingod, to clarify… you’re getting the malware warning for the efx3 home page? Or your blog? Or my blog?
I recieved the warnings when trying to visit the home page, and my blog. I didn’t really try to visit anyone elses blogs. Once I saw the message on my blog page, I came to the homepage to see if there was any info about the situation. Once I saw that others were having the same problem, I figured it was a site hosting/coding problem, and figured that Rusty and Pixie would be getting things back on track soon enough.
Sorry it’s taken so long to update on this situation – we’ve known about it since last week but haven’t had a chance until now to get on the internet for an uninterupted spell and update about it, hehe. Anyway, as per the site notice I posted (and thanks for posting your antivirus message here Mothman – it helped clarify what was going on!), it’s not efx3 that’s at fault; we believe that the hosting company we use was hosting another site that got flagged as malware which then flagged up every site that hosting company is hosting. Bit of a pain, but we’ll contact them as soon as we can to see what they’re doing about it.
Hey… dumb question time… you said you posted a site notice … where would I see that??

With Emma’s new restricted diet, we’re searching for a wheat flour replacement for baking. Replacing the milk and any butter is doable… but the wheat is an issue. Lisa and I have done a lot of reading in the last few weeks, and now have a pantry cupboard full of all kinds of wheat-alternative-flours … [...]
