Our new addition is also settling in nicely. The other cats are mostly still grumpy at having him there, but they are slowly adjusting.

We saw Avatar in both 2D and 3D, and in my opinion the 3D added nothing. Our nearest 3D theatre seems to be of the crappy variety, since the colours are less vibrant and generally darker than in plain 2D. So much so that we just skipped the 3D altogether for Alice In Wonderland and [...]

Five? Pffff, four – I only read if there are pictures. :) I’m ADHD that way. ;) And my feelings on the exit of summer is the same as yours on winter. It has been so freaking warm here, they could open a drive-through meat-on-a-stick for cannibals at the border without much effort.
